 If you are not sure what you want or need: thickness, color, feel, design then give us a call and we can discuss your options. Since we have two machine shops, we can offer inexpensive prototype tooling in as little as 72 hours.
Prototyping Extrusion Line
With our Technology Center’s Prototyping Extrusion Line and R & D staff, we can offer you samples in quantities as little as 10 feet or semi-production runs of over 1,000 feet. We can run a number of different profiles to give you some options, or run your profile in multiple materials. We can even change design parameters (wall thickness) while we are running.
We also offer 3-D Printing Services capable of “print-to-part” in ABS in less than 48 hours.

 The profile design process begins with an idea. Our industry-leading engineers who hold multiple degrees in plastics Engineering and have many years of experience will work side by side with you on the design of your plastic profile.
AutoCAD Design for your Plastic Profiles
We can take your “Back of the Napkin Design” and using state-of-the-art AutoCAD tools design, develop and optimize your plastic profile product. Our engineers will advise you on form and function issues defining profile tolerances and material requirements. We will offer advice on your choice and cost of materials and then refine your design before you incur any production costs. With over 35 years experience extruding plastic profiles, in depth knowledge of cutting edge plastics and state-of-the-art equipment, we can offer you the best profile design team in the industry.

Rapid Prototype Profiles
Just give us a sketch and we will do the rest. Using stereolithography, we have the ability to convert two-dimensional CAD drawings into tangible, three-dimensional rapid prototype models within a matter of hours. This rapid prototyping technology, also known as 3-D layering or 3-D printing, enables us to help you gain a true visualization of how your plastic profile will look upon completion. Stereolithography allows us to create a rapid prototype, and work with you to make necessary design changes before you incur any production costs.
We can offer rapid prototyping for extruded profiles in ABS (turnaround time of 48 hrs). ABS is a wonderful material in that it offers good stiffness, impact strength, and finish, along with the ability to adhere to easily. Our Rapid Prototype profiles save time and money in the design process.
